About Us
Children of Mary Nursery and Kindergarten
We are a non-profit, non-sectarian school, which originated in 1975
Children of Mary is registered with the New York State Department of Education and Licensed by the New York State Office of Child and Family Services.
The Children of Mary Staff has more the 75 years , collectively, of teaching experience. Our teaching staff is highly educated and trained in Early Childhood Education.
Our Mission:
Children of Mary is a collaboration with Family, Community and Religion, is to provide all children with access to high-quality programs, help prepare them for the next level of their education and equip them with necessary life skills.
Our Goals:
Our curriculum allows fr freedom of movement, which is vital to the development of small children within the framework of a classroom situation. Children will develop a positive self image, gain self confidence and skills through meaningful interactions. Children will develop autonomy and self expression through developmentally appropriate play. Children will be active learners by having the freedom to make choices and opportunities for self-expression through center activities, music and movement, language experiences, science and math (STEM) activities.
